GITEX Global 2025 being held from 13th -17th October 2025, isn’t just a tech show, it quietly hints at how daily life in Dubai (and UAE) is about to feel more futuristic, frictionless, and AI-powered.
Here’s how those big innovations actually translate into real-world change for Dubai residents.
Smarter, Faster Government Services

What is shown: Abu Dhabi unveiled the world’s first AI-powered public servant, able to handle documentation, queries, and approvals in seconds.
Abu Dhabi unveiled the world’s first AutoGov function with the latest version of TAMM today at GITEX Global 2025.
AutoGov introduces a groundbreaking model of proactive government services, automatically managing recurring tasks such as licence renewals, utility payments, and healthcare appointments.
The TAMM AutoGov function launch takes service delivery to the next level, marking a pivotal milestone in Abu Dhabi’s journey to becoming the world’s first AI-native government, representing the next generation of integrated intelligent service delivery. It can automatically manage recurring services, with users having the ability to set preferences, customise automation, and trust that services will happen seamlessly and securely.
This complements the capabilities of the TAMM AI Assistant, enabling a unique, intuitive, seamless delivery of over 1,100 public and private services on a single digital platform. TAMM AI Assistant provides smart, contextual, and proactive support, can complete many services on the customer’s behalf — enhancing both personalisation and proactivity across every user journey.
What it means for residents:
Shorter queues at government centres (or none at all).
24/7 digital assistance in Arabic & English.
Quicker trade license renewals, visa queries, and bill payments — all handled by conversational AI.
Intelligent Transport & Mobility

What is showcased: AI-powered trackless trams and self-driving pods under Dubai’s smart mobility project.
Powered entirely by electricity, the trackless tram system is not only eco-friendly but also more cost-effective and quicker to construct than traditional tram systems.
The AI-powered system will operate without fixed tracks and make use of optical navigation, GPS and LiDAR technologies.
Each tram consists of three carriages and can accommodate up to 300 passengers, making it an efficient option for city commuting.
With a top speed of 70 km/h and an operational speed ranging from 25 to 60 km/h, the tram is designed for both performance and safety. A single charge allows the tram to travel up to 100 kilometres, enhancing its viability as a sustainable public transport option.
At GITEX, a demonstration was set up comparing the trackless tram to a traditional tram – with the trackless version being lighter and easier to introduce new routes once implemented.
What it offers :
Smoother, greener public transport that adjusts routes based on demand.
Predictive traffic management → fewer jams on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Seamless payment through unified mobility wallets.

Healthcare That Thinks Ahead

What’s coming: AI diagnostics, predictive health monitoring, and telemedicine platforms powered by 5G.
Abu Dhabi is using artificial intelligence to help residents live longer, healthier lives by predicting the risk of diseases like diabetes and cancer even before symptoms appear.
The Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) has rolled out an AI-powered patient risk profile across all hospitals and clinics, enabling doctors to make early interventions based on lifelong medical data.
The tool analyses data drawn from an individual’s entire health record since birth, identifying subtle patterns even humans might miss.
It scans their entire health record since they were born. It looks at trends that even humans wouldn't be able to catch. But what it allows for is physicians, and doctors are able to use this information, understand why it's recommending in this way, and then start treating patients before it happens.
The result — people live longer, healthier lives, because you catch these things earlier.
What it offers:
Faster lab results and preventive alerts on health apps.
AI doctors for basic consultations in multiple languages.
Shorter hospital visits for common issues thanks to automation.
